Ingredients
  1. ¾ cup (180 ml) pomegranate juice
  2. 1 orange, peeled, halved
  3. 2 Tablespoons (30 g) plain Greek yogurt
  4. 1 banana, peeled
  5. 2 cups (60 g) spinach
  6. 1 Tablespoon flaxseed
  7. 1 cup (150 g) frozen tart cherries
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Select Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.
  4. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
Notes
  1. Flaxseed must be ground to get the nutritional benefits. The Vitamix pulverizes them finely to achieve this.
  2. This recipe has been written for the C-Series machines with Variable Speed control and Standard 64-ounce container. If you are using a different Vitamix machine or container size, you may need to make adjustments to the Variable Speed, processing time, and/or ingredient quantities.
